EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy is an effective method of treating trauma and anxiety disorders. Its goal is to process painful memories and reduce their negative impact on the patient’s current life. During the session, the therapist guides the patient through traumatic events, using eye movements or other stimuli, which helps to process emotions and reduce stress. EMDR therapy is especially recommended for people experiencing PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), anxiety or depression. The process is safe, and its effectiveness is confirmed by numerous scientific studies. It was developed by Francine Shapiro in 1987.
